Eucharistic Apostolate

“This is the wonderful truth, my dear friends: the Word which become flesh two thousand years ago, is present today in the Eucharist” (St.JohnPaul II).

    Our main apostolate is to foster Eucharistic devotion in others through the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. All of us are called to offer incessant adoration like the angels in heaven. We should be constantly vigilant to attract the faithful to offer to worship to the load by our active participation in the holy Eucharistic and ardent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Our communities and apostolic fields must be used as means to share our charism.
    Our call to serve the universal church is carried out through our ministry in the local church. Through our active involvement in the parish ministry we help the people to grow in their faith and to lead a sacramental life. Thus, we help the parish family to become an integral part of the universal church. With the intention of family renewal and women empowerment, we engage in home visits and conduct welfare programs.
    Through the faith formation we aims at training for active participation in the liturgy and worship of God in truth and sprit, fostering a life based on Christian values by formation of good conscience. Be cooperate in the efforts of the church in the formation of the youth by instilling in them deep love and fidelity to the church and thus enable them to be dedicated to the mystical body of Christ.

In order to attract all especially the young to the miraculous power of the Holy Eucharist, there are Eucharistic Centers formed in connection with our convents and institutions. The annual Eucharistic Convention of the Congregation was held at the Provinical House in Kilianthara from 22 to 24 October 2015. About 450 sisters from our congregation and other congregations participated in the Convention. Large number of Lay people also participated in the convention. All those who came were enriched by the experience. Perpetual Adoration began in the new Provincial House on 14 January 2014. Once a month, the Christeen group and Charismatic group conducts Adoration and prayers from 7 to 12 in the evening. Sisters are actively involved in the renewal programme of the congregation and a number of sisters are offering service in various retreat centres.

Angels meet: To help the little children in the devotion to the Holy Eucharist and to return the abundant love Jesus expressed by establishing the Eucharist.

Euchristic center: Through Adoration, home visit, reading of good books, charitable activities etc. are planned to help young people to become aware of the great love Jesus expressed by establishing the Eucharist and becoming living bread for us. They are to be inspired to be broken for others as Jesus did for the humanity. They are invited to participate in seminars and conventions.

Bible nursery: For the children below the age of 5 is aimed at helping the children to become aware of the loving message God gives us through his messengers and words.

Youth wing: For the youth to become living witness for the Eucharistic love through Adoration, group discussion, debate, family visit, helping the poor etc.

Eucharistic Associates: This is aimed at helping the people especially women to become rooted in the devotion to the Eucharistic Lord through Adoration, house visiting, reading of good books and participating in various activities such as conventions, Seminars and discussions.

Eucharistic retreat: Retreat is conducted for the whole members of the family to grow in the love of the Holy Eucharist.

Night vigil: Conducted every First Friday with all night adoration, talks and prayers.

Radio programs: Various entertainment programs are conducted to inspire the people to become closer to God. Songs and dance program of the children are planned and aired for the general public.
